and something positive...

It's true what they say, the people you shit with (empty cabin biscuit carton) for six years, will be your friends for life. There is just something so personal about shitting together....

Two people that have kept me going in the hardest of times have turned out to be former boarding house mates. One, I have not seen in more than ten years, the other, I see every five years or so...

But twenty years ago, we were all scared ten year olds with buckets and hoes bigger than our selves, entering into the world of "boarding house" where you either become psychologically damaged for life or strong as a mutherfucker.

I hated that sick school but I LOVE the beautiful friends that somehow always find their way into my life when I need them the most.

I thank God for them. Thats what they said I should do. I should not thank them, but thank God.

So, I thank God.

"entering into the world of "boarding house" where you either become psychologically damaged for life or strong as a mutherfucker."That is so true!

Yes, those people you go through serious life changing moments with, such as boarding school, can indeed become some of the most cherished friends you have.

Anyway, madam, how far? When are you coming our way, now?

True, your closest friends are made in boarding school! they have seen you thru everything imaginable, your best and worst! they were there to wipe away your tears and also present to eat your mama's homecooked meals.... yup, thinking about it, those who know me best are my boarding school buddies...
PS
if you can survive boarding school in 9ja, you can survive whatever the world throws in your face!

mennnnnn, boarding house brings back both nightmares and some fun memories...the fun ones involved interactions with classmates.

I also think that it could also be that you make some friends at different times, they serve a purpose and then they drift to the background. That's not to say that they will not be there for you, but their purpose in your life is unique and linear.
And there are the ones that rocked leggedeez-benz with you, braved okada and will with the same excitement enjoy your car...
I try not to expect more than the friendship of now from people. That way, i don't devalue what we have and don't overestimate what we don't.

BTW: sebi i am your friend...think very hard before you give that answer...i know where u live...i also know juju
