7 earthly things (was tagged by Laspapi)

Seven Things (You (probably, most likely) don’t know about me

Thing Number One:
I speak 4 european languages, I am not telling you which, hehehehehhee

Thing Number Two:
I can't lie to save my life, everytime I lie, I start laughing, people that are close to me are aware of this, If I laugh, I lie.

Thing Number Three:
I love dry humour. Can't get enough of "Frasier" and "Seinfield", when I watch Frasier, his brother Niles cracks me up so badly, and yes, I laugh out loud.

Thing Number Four:
I did not watch "saturday night fever" with John Travolta untill about two years ago because as a child, my parents told me it was a very "bad" film.

Thing Number Five:
In secondary school, my dream was to become an "extension worker", you know, agriculture, the person that goes to rural area and teaches farmers the latest agric practices (ehhhh, how to use fertilizer)

Thing Number Six:
I have astigmatism, I can't draw a straight line, I constantly stumble on escalators, stairs, etc. I have hit myself so many times against tables, I have a permanent bruise on my hip.

Thing Number Seven:
I read extremely fast.If I may say so myself, I should enter one of those competitions, I think I have a shot!

weird.....except for the language part/ i only speak teensy weensy spanish, its like ur talking bout me. Dunno if the stumbling part has to do with my vision although my eye sight is very bad.
Im actually pretty good at lying.
Adore seinfeld, frasier and niles is prolly one of the funiest chaacters on television. Still havent seen Satuday Night Fever.
They never let me read in high school cos i was too fast. :(

Waffy,
I suspect I know some of the languages you speak. You can't lie? You'll never be able to get a Secret Service job.
I won't lie, Frasier's dry wit doesn't do it for me neither does Seinfeld. I won't rush home because either's on TV, but SNL? Now, that's comedy. Coincidentally, on Cable TV available in Nigeria, your favourite progrmmes are back to back then SNL. You love dry wit? so do I, but I think the British are best at it-"French & Saunders", "Lenny Henry" etc
Hehe at not watching Saturday Night Fever. When I was a teen, my step mum came in to see us watching Bruce Lee's "Big Boss". Some girl had just shown a breast or something. She reported to my father...terrible consequences.

Extension worker? Duuuhhhh!

Astigmatism, waffy? I never heard of that. Can you imagine how many undiagnosed cases abound in Nigeria?

I watched saturday night fever for the first time this year.
I can tell a good lie but always feel bad about it later
it would be nice to know the different languages u speak.

4 European Languages - thats nice. Still aspiring to learn one to add to my English.

I read terribly fast too. Should be the good start or foundation we had with Enid Blyton huh? (smile)

I used to love Frasier! And I liked finally started watching Seinfeld after it was over, like it too!

4 european languages? I am so jealous.

My dear, when I was younger...I used to finish reading my books so fast - my Mummy thought I didn't actually read them and she'd ask me questions from the book and ofcourse I got all the questions right. Let's do a competition!!! LOL!

oh my gosh .. you're like me.. anytime i lie to my sister she catches me cos once she looks into my eyes.. i burst out laughing.. even my mom knows when i'm lying.. most of my friends too.. apparently the tone of my voice changes... so i've become an expert 'hedger'(lol.. 'change-the'topic-er')i'm a big fan of dry humour.. thats why i know i'm spiritually british(cos i actually get and love most oyinbo humour.. prefer it to the obvious stuff.. you know the fart jokes and suchlike... canadians really do have the best humour ever... you should youtube the video on trial show.. dont know if they got it there or not. but if i find any... i'll email you em) i read extremely fast as well.. havent watched saturday night fever or grease(so no worry about dat one)
