The sweetest thing....

Am I actually giggling? Well, this is not giggling...I swear I am laughing out loud! I can be so silly...so this is what it means to be in euphoria? hehehehhe, well this euphoria thing is quite good...now lets see if I can jump and catch that leaf...Oh dear! heheheheh yeah...well, let's try the next one....there! and its a good leaf too! Nice whole shape...now if only I could find a good stick...so what was it about the brown envelope that got me into giggles? Got me so happy...I laughed out loud tearing the envelope...and all the time thinking..."he is so useless"....I looked at them one by one...and still the giggles...perhaps it was the memories that overwhelmed me with each item...perhaps it was the thought of it all...perhaps it was the giggles...perhaps it was him...I kept walking as I thought of the brown envelope, placed gently underneath my clothes...in my favourite drawer...with my favourite clothes...

Did he really send me pacesetters?

Speaking of naija novel... do you remember this book about a young man who returned from england after his elder brother who had married the girl he loves died. According to the customs he had to marry her, being a liberal educated person he refused and so she committed suicide because she thought he no longer loved her.... ( don't know if this makes sense) the author was igbo and i believe it was set in igbo land i read it when i was eleven years old.... i cant remember the title or author for the life of me

Anyway off to the lakesude to get some sun. Have a nice weekend, and dont exhaust ur stash of pacesetters in one weekend abeg

Stumbled on this...But just had to leave a comment
My 1st Pacesetter was Evbu My Love and I just had to read more. I can remember the one i read had no cover. We used to leave secondary school at closings hours for the Kwara state library to read paceseeters then. The library didn't lend out books then (dot know if the do now). I used to complete one in two days. Wonder if kids of that age group read novels again...
