Poison Fire

I recently had the opportunity of meeting Lars who made this documentary. I am so grateful and thankful to people like him who take their time and energy to make sure that the world sees the collossial mess we have made of our lands.

I will keep talking about it and so should you. For more on what is happening at the moment, please visit this website and see how you too, can get active.

Our govt sucks but we don't, so lets do what we can.

this is soo sad,
has the gas flaring issue being addressed in Nigeria by shell?

How come it was only the poor people in that State in Nigeria are the ones calling for the enviromental damage to stop? Those in high offices in Bayelsa State stay silent. Why??

Bayelsa State Government and Federal Government of Nigeria CAN stop Shell from flaring gas if they want. It is not happening because of corruption within Bayelsa State Government and Federal Government.

Bayelsa State Government is one of the most corrupt State governments in Nigeria.

It should be Bayelsa State Government taking Shell to court for environmental damage NOT the poor villagers who do not know ALL their legal rights.

Shame on Bayelsa State Government, Bayelsa State House of Assembly, PDP, Timipre Sylva and Goodluck Jonathan.
